Objective: Talking about music

Preactivity:

1. Make sure that your headset is ready to record. Do a sound check first.

2. Review  the directions on how to use Lingt Language Tools 

 

Activity:

1. Review your vocabulary by practicing the flashcards at Quizlet  Flashcards- La Musique

2. Giving your opinion of music

a. Go to the Livebinder and listen to the vocabulary for describing a song Livebinder la musique

b. Listen to samples of the music for each of the artists on the Livebinder tabs

c. Take the survey Survey to give your opinion of the musical artists

2. Recording at Lingt language

  Go to http://lingtlanguage.com/takeassignment/37732993617746/  begin recording. Remember you must give permission to allow access to your microphone.

- First, you will listen by clicking on the blue bubble. To record, click on the grey bubble once to begin recording and then a second time when you are finished recording.

- When you are ready to submit your assignment, type in your first and last name and class period. You do not have to put in an email.

I really liked today's assignment. It was fun! Kyo sounds like a really good band to listen to. I liked their song called "Contact". The flashcards helped a little and I understood some key words.

I really liked the music that I listened to as it showed some modern aspects of French pop culture.I also came to develop an interest in some of the artists,I will try to find out more about them.The extra vocab helped a lot as I found more ways to express my opinion instead of just saying j'aime or j'adore.

I liked today's assignment, it gave a better understanding behind the vocabulary we are learning thus, making it easier to learn. The flashcards helped as well. Gage was the most enjoyable artist. However, it would have been nice to see a broader variation in genres.

I liked today's assignment. It was fun listening to different types of music in French. Out of all the artist my favorite ones were Pokora and Shy'm. They had more moving music and beats. The flashcards also helped me review my vocab.

i really enjoyed the music i listened today in class. The melody and style are similar to American music. i want to find out more about them. The vocab we reviewed at the beginning of class helps me through the speaking activity.

I really liked todays assignment. The two different atrits that liked was Grégoire and Kyo. They had a smooth kind of way of music that they sing. The flashcards that could be heard were very helpful.

Todays assignment was cool I didn't really like any of the artists, probably cause I didn't fully understand what they were saying. The only artist I truely liked was Gage. His beats were good and I can hear his emotion in his music.
