Posting Day 2

1. Sign into the Wikispace French 3

2. Be sure your chart is completed for at least the first hotel. You will need to finish the others over the weekend. Copy and paste your hotel information into this chart.

3. Use Making accent marks  to put accent marks into your work.

4. Open a Word document and  type your hotel email.

5. Go to Google Maps France and type in the address for your hotel.

6. Select the street view and embed the picture into your wikipage. You will use the Embed Widget icon to do this.

7. Copy the rest of your hotel email and add any other pictures.

8. Complete task 3

Tâche 2- L'hôtel - Draft

Objective- To complete accommodation information for your virtual trip. To collect pictures of your hotel. Be sure to document these properly. To begin a your draft of your hotel tâche.

Review your chart on the French 3 Wikipage. Be sure that your information is on YOUR regions page. Do not add additonal pages

Activity-Creating draft for Tâche 2

1. Read the directions for Writing about your Hotel

2. Copy the chart to a Word Document and filll  in what you can

	Write the French forms here:
your greeting

where you are (present)

how the flight was (imperfect)

how you are feeling

what the weather is like (present)

the name of your hotel with a brief description with location (present)

3 amenities of your hotel (present)

 

3. Find at least one photo of your hotel and upload the photo and your chart to the Wikispace page

4. Print out your chart and photo

Today you will find three places to stay while you are in France.

Although you do not have a budget limitation, you will need to track you expenses on your budget form. By the end of the class period today, you will…

       Find accommodation for three cities in France

      Find pictures of your accommodation from the official website if possible

       Fill out a chart summarizing your accommodation information

       List the URLS you have used today

       Update your budget spreadsheet

      Save your summary chart to your wikispace page.

  Try to add picture of each hotel if possible. Post this in the HOTEL category.

       Find interesting things to do if you finish before the class period is over.

 If you know you want to stay at a hotel, a quick way to find one is to visit the Internaute Hotels site.

-          After you have chosen your hotel. Look at the hotel fiche to check out what kinds of amenities your hotel has to see if it is to your liking.

-          go to Google.fr   Yahoo France  and check to see if your hotel has a website.

-          Save some pictures at the hotel site so that you can use them to add to a journal entry of a day at your hotel.

-          Reserve your room for the number of days you need.

-          Fill in the chart below with all required information.

-          Fill out your budget sheet.

-          If you’d like to try a different type of accommodation, visit the France Guide Se Loger  section. Here, you will find information about gîtes, camping grounds and other accommodations. You will also be able to reserve an accommodation at this site.

-          Go to Google.fr or Yahoo France to see if your accommodation has an official website.
