Mini lesson: using Google advanced search. Using Lingro

Copy and paste the following headings:

1. Create an account at Lingro . Use your French name and your school password to create your account.

2. Open lingro and then go to the Gaspesie website to learn about the region. In your word document, list in English 3 things you have learned about the region. Use Lingro to track your vocabulary. Copy and paste your vocabulary into your word document.

3. Open Lingro again and  to Mon Dusty to read about a Canadian country western singer. Copy and paste this vocabulary into a word document. In English, list three things you learned about Dusty.

4. Choose 5 of his questions you would use to interview the celebrity. Post. Copy and paste these questions into your word document.

4. Use the Creative Commons at Flickr to find pictures for your post cards. Use the search terms of Marrakech, Maroc, or Morroco

2. Take a virtual visit of the opera house. List three adjectives in French that you would use to describe the opera house.
3. Fill out the Coupe de l’Opéra worksheet using the Plan de l’Opera
4. In the Grand Foyer, there are statues of the Muses. Fill out the worksheet by writing the role of the Muses. Which one is missing?  
5. Fill out the Plan de Salle and put a star next to where you would like to sit.

 

Post activity

Go to Wallwisher and complete a sticky with a description of the Opéra in French and your your place préféfée. Use your French name on your sticky.

- List the names and addresses of your hotels in your intinerary.

- Find the hotel in Google street view and  enbed photos into your wiki

 Go to Google Maps France and type in the address for your hotel.

Select the street view and embed the picture into your wikipage. You will use the Embed Widget icon to do this.

 Copy the rest of your hotel email and add any other pictures.

Tâche 9- Budget and reflection 

In this final task, you will complete your budget sheet and give your final reflection. You will need to convert the final total to American dollars. You will  name this Budget, sites,  pensées, and place on your budget page.

·        Download the form from the Budget Spreadsheet page

·        Calculate your expenses including food and outings

·        Use  the conversion site to calculate the final price in American dollars

·        Write your reflection- two stars and a wish…what two things went well? What do you wish you had done differently?

Vocabulaire Unité 5A

Objective- Reviewing Unité 5A Vocabulary, negative expressions, and future tense.

 

A. You will create THREE sets of  flashcards at StudyStack to assess your knowledge of the vocabulary and grammar for Unité 5. Be sure to title your Flashcard set with the title next to the Roman Numeral.

B. For your username, you will use your French name. Use your school login.

C.. You will place all three links to your vocabulary flashcards on your Wiki under the page of Vocabulaire.  You may use your handouts our your online textbook at Classzone.com for your vocabulary.

 

D. After you have created your flashcards, play at least two different kinds of games. We'll discuss which ones worked best in class.

Travel Blog Setup and Tour Preparation
